So, I finally got my Escaflowne fanclub started!

I know it looks a little simple but I just got it started.

I bought a sub for the club and now I'm using the Escaflowne layout Kendra made for me, which I'm really happy about.

1st Place: "Perfect Painting" by

Comment: "This is my FIRST ever Digital Painting of my LOVE from my childhood, Mr. David Bowie and sweet and beautiful Twiggy." It's clear that =Darkona-Goth enjoys to show her love for her favourite childhood duo Bowie and Twiggy. She conquered the hearts of many of us with her beautiful art and devotion for what she does.

2nd Place: "Two Pair" by

Medium: Pencil & Paper
Comment: With being one of the most original ideas while browsing all of the entries, Two Pair definitely deserves to get a spotlight for its own. Not only does this drawing look incredibly real, it also shows *Lion83 played his trump card by using both his skill and cleverness.

3rd Place: "A Reflection of Oneself" by

Medium: Photoshop
Comment: The definition of "duo" interpreted in a very orifinal way, =mitchellnelson reflects himself in different ways, and how! The blue, dark colours with the bright highlights attracts you to the image, only to discover there's so much meaning behind this subject than you might think in the first place.

4th Place: "Look my son" by

Comment: What's more to love than a father loving his son? This basic relationship and loving duo caught our attention and hearts immediately. *asiajunkieasia's eye for detail is incredibly accurate and the softness and the gentle atmosphere of this image is amazing.

5th Place: "A Griffin and His Boy" by

Duo: Game Fan Art of 2 Characters
Medium: Photoshop
Comment: This was definitely one of the favourites among the hundreds of entries. The small boy who offers comfort and understanding to the large griffin combined with the bright colours makes this one hell of an amazing artwork.

6th Place: "You're the Reason" by

Duo: Lost family bond between Father and Son
Medium: Literature
Comment: It's wondrous that even though Literature always seems to be underrated and underappreciated, this small piece of literature got chosen multiple times by quite a few. *fizzymilkshake tells a story about a broken family. Despite the flaws, it also makes it whole again.

No contest currently. I'm looking for someone to make me an avatar for my Escaflowne club, and I'm also questing for a new layout, but nothing official yet.

I am however participating in the "Black and White" contest, being held by *vulcania.

I have entered two of my drawings, "Ikuto v. 1" ([link]) and "Van, Movie Style" ([link]). It's just for fun though, because I don't have a hope in hell of winning.
